andrews bday was oct.11 and last minute we decided to have dinner and drinks at the clubhouse... but since both andrew and i rode our bikes and drank up a couple of pitchers, neither of us thought to take any pictures (quite surprising for me). anyways, it was a nice little get-together for a wednesday evening.
friday nite i made a big salad n pasta dish for dinner and jacquie rode her bike over... we were planning on going to bodyworlds but the tickets started to go really fast so we hopped in the car, drove over to sw see a huge line-up and decided to go another time. then we cruised up to kingsgate mall to pick out a drink for dinner, we ended up coming home with a huge magnum of champagne, some oj to go with it and jax got a new pair of shoes.

rode our bikes down to hoko's sushi/karaoke bar which happens to be just a few doors down from andrews workshop... and caught some of the live acts but jq and i ducked out early as we downed a little too much champagne to be in such a packed place...

saturday morning/afternoon i was at a workshop hosted by Larry DiAngi, called 'how to be purpose driven'. i actually enjoyed it more than i thought and felt like some of his points really hit home. my mum has his books so one of the titles will be next on my reading list.
saturday evening andrew and i finally got to use our comp. bodyworlds tickets (it was the day they expired), he picked up the timed tickets in the morning and we rode our bikes over just b4 our time slot... i had already been thru once while i was at work but i wanted to go again and spend more time looking around. we lined up outside the bw entrance but we were spared a long wait because a co-worker on shift said 'you're staff, why are u in line, just go thru the back' so we did... it was way more packed then when i had gone thru b4 which made it a little less enjoyable but it really is such an amazing exhibit... i was sad i missed the 'touch table' both of my times thru though... i'll have to go thru when i;m at work just to chek that part out.
