friends move away :(

part of our neighborhood gang is leaving... trina and rhys are headed for the kootenays... we will miss you guys so much! but i am looking forward to taking a roadtrip to visit you this summer! below are some pics of the goodbye event...

jazz fest!

today we caught a bit of the jazz fest fun that will be going on in vancity till july 3rd. i've got my program all marked up for this coming week and looks like almost all of july 2nd i'll be enjoying local and international jazz musicians. if anybody wants to see some great live shows (lots for free) gimme a call and chek the title of this post for a link to the official website.

the week flew by and we definitely want to head bak there sometime soon for more fun in the sun. i just hope i wont be dealing with all this chronic back pain next time... unfortunately my aching back really made it hard for me to get around but i still had a great time (even tho i didnt get to party cuz i was usually passed out by 10). anyways, we had a wonderful time and following are 30 something pictures to show it. we definitely would have had a whole lot more photos but andrew forgot his camera bag at home that had his pro camera and all the spare batteries, and cards. so we were left with my manual, (pics soon to be developed) and my so-so digital with a very small storage card and no extra batteries. we managed to catch a few good moments but i missed out on getting any pics of all the friends we made there and so many of the other magical places. u all must go there to see it for yourself!
