at the beginning of the month andrew went to whistler for a stag and i took the vw van to cortes with tanya.
we had the van packed full with almost all of tanya's eastvan garden and had a great time planting it all into the ground up on cortes. arrington met us in campbell river and he picked up a fresh supply of chicks! they were so cute - i think there were about 30 of them packed into the box. when we got to his place i had lots of fun taking pics of all the animals... one of his cats had recently had kittens and the other one was pregnant (got pics of those babies on the 2nd trip). and of course i had to snap a few of the pigs... proscuitto pig and captain cappicolli!
i had forgotten to bring the camera along so all these shots are from a crummy disposable camera but they actually ended up turning out not too bad...

well, my last post was may 1st and now here we are at the end of the month... many good times were had and too many photos were taken... with 2 trips to cortes, and a wedding, amongst other happenings there are lotsa pics... waaaay to many to post... over 1,000... but above are some of the random shots from the month... and we'll see what happens with the rest...

wow... it's a new month and i have actually caught up completely with archiving our photos... april proved to be a well-photographed month with some sorta documentation for almost every day! here's to another great month...

sunday...

sunday morn we enjoyed bfast at the skylight on commercial drive accompanied by rainbow and tanya... afterwards, tanya, andrew and i along with our pups headed to burnaby lake for a leisurely walk (wished rainbow and bruno coulda come!)... we didnt quite realise the 11km commitment we got ourselves into... nonetheless we had a great time and pokes got along sooo well with mayz... both dogs were so well-behaved off-leash (even tho they werent actually allowed) - they stayed on the path, never ran too far ahead and didnt bark at all! andrew forgot his camera so we didnt get many pics (i still havent gotten a card for our lil digicam) but i know whenever i go bak next i will take tons of photos... it;s a wildlife refuge so there were tons of neat birds around but we couldnt get too close as the dogs weren't permitted in certain areas.
maybe, i'll leave the pooch at home next time...

saturday...

saturday was an errand-day... in the morn we dropped off the 'wago-nuevo' (corolla wagon) to get a new windshield, then ran around between the grocery store, liquor store, and bakery. the day ended with a family get together for my dads bday. ate a ton of greek food, drank lotsa wine and some ouzo then all 12 of us piled into my parents room to watch a slideshow of photos of my neices baseball team (plus the 2 dogs and i think the cat was hiding out in there somewhere)... i am going to get a copy of the program so maybe i will start having some of those type things posted here... that way you could see the all shots in fullscreen view without me having to post em all individually. anyways, point-n-shoot pics below...
