well, that's it for me and the super science club - i finished up my contract with science world this month and now i am self-employed fulltime. we had our ssc 'end of term' party last night at grandview lanes on commercial drive. had fun with the 5 pin glow-in-the-dark bowling - we had the entire upstairs floor to ourselves but when we left the main floor was full of serious 'league bowlers'. crazy sport...

i'm off for an appt in kits again... today is the third day in a row i've been over there - must be all this lovely summer weather calling me to beach-town. on monday i took the shots below of jamie and araya, and had some mk biz to take care of over there. yesterday rode my bike over after running errands downtown and this morning i am meeting up with the manager of a store where i'm going to be setting up a mk display for a 'womens appreciation night'. anyways, it has been so nice to visit with Araya and see how much she has grown - she's 14months now and i think the last time i saw her she was 8months (its amazing how fast babies grow when they are in their first couple years). She is running all over the place and talking lots too... half of my photos turned out blurry cuz she was always on the move!

after getting bak from the kelowna trip i relaxed for the last part of my weekend... andrew went out with his dad sunday morning/afternoon and i: slept, took poki for a walk to the park, gave myself a pedicure and a manicure. then they picked me up and since it was such a beautiful day we decided to head for a patio at english bay for dinner. ate at 'freehouse' on the corner of davie & denman and although i cant speak for the other 2 - i enjoyed my meal: great yam frieswith galic mayo for an appy(avec a sleeve of stella), yummy duck spring rolls they brought out as freebies and porcini ravioli as an entree. finished it all of with a mighty fine ceaser. then we took andrews dad home to north van and on the way bak to our place we stopped in stanley park. it was windy by the beach so we didnt stick around too long but i sure have been loving this weather!

the trip to kelowna was great! but they werent kidding around when they called it mary kay bootcamp - there were 8 cabins with 12 bunks each and our schedule was jam packed. it was a really great experience though and i was one of the lucky ones who got some extra special treatment... ended up winning the draw to stay in an executive hotel suite instead of the bunks in the cabins. there were about 70 people in attendance and overall it was truly a wonderful time - got training from some of the best directors in the country and now i'm gonna run with it!
